Sony Handycam HDR-CX110 is an entry-level high-definition video camcorder. This camcorder uses memory cards for its storage options. Supported media types include Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo and SD/SDHC/SDXC. This is an affordable high-definition camcorder that provides users flexibility in storage. HDR-CX110 records videos at 1920 x 1080 Full HD and captures 3 megapixel images. The files are saved to memory cards. Users can offload these files to an external hard drive through Sony's Direct Copy technology. Direct Copy allows HDR-CX110 to copy its files over without the use of a computer. It also allows the camcorder to access and play files on an external hard drive onto a TV. Handycam HDR-CX110 is a great budget camcorder for novice users. The camcorder has 9 different auto modes that facilitate by automatically selecting optimized settings for different shooting scenarios. A 2.7 inch 230 pixel LCD display is built into the camcorder. The display can be rotated 270 degrees. This allows users to shoot from multiple angles. This Handycam has 25X Optical / 300X Digital Zoom. Capture shots for a distance away.
