HDR-CX300
Sony Handycam HDR-CX300 is an entry-level high-definition video camcorder. This is a flash based camcorder that has 16GB of embedded flash that can be used for storage. A media slot allows for further storage expansion. The media slot supports Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick Pro-HG Duo and SD/SDHC/SDXC media types. HDR-CX300 records 1920 x 1080 Full HD and takes 7 megapixel pictures. These high quality shots can take up a lot of storage space. This camcorder features Direct Copy technology. The technology allows the HDR-CX300 to copy over its files to an external hard drive without the use of a computer. It also allows the camcorder to access files on the same external hard drive for playback on a TV. This is useful when the user is outside and does not have computer access around. Shooting with the HDR-CX300 is easy. The camcorder has so many features that facilitate in various shooting scenarios. An "Exmor R" CMOS sensor allows the camcorder to shoot in low light settings and capture quality shots without much noise. Face Detection/Face Priority and Smile Shutter technologies help shooters focus in on their subjects by optimizing on focus, color and exposure of key areas.
