Sony Handycam HDR-XR350V is a mid-level performance, high definition video camcorder. It uses a 160GB hard drive to store video and still images. The HDR-XR350V is capable of recording 1920 x 1080 Full HD videos and 7 megapixel high resolution still images. High definition videos and high resolution pictures require larger storage capacities. Thus hard drive based camcorders are perfect for these types of file sizes. The HDR-XR350V has a large 160GB hard drive that is adequate to store both videos and still images. If that's not enough, the camcorder also features a hybrid recording system which enables data to be stored onto a removable flash media disk. The HDR-XR350V has a 2.7" clear photo LCD display that has a high 230k pixel resolution. Users can quickly power on the camcorder by simply opening the LCD display. The display also allows users to geo-tag videos and pictures through touch screen functionality. A built-in GPS receiver and NAVTEQ maps facilitate in the geo-tagging support.
